crazy for macaroons and cakes.

I had a dream. In my dream, i ate THE most delicious cake ever! Bangun bangun je the first thing yang terlintas kat dalam otak " I NEED TO EAT SOME CAKE". like,gila wajib dan perlu.

but unfortunately,tak semua yang kita nak tu dapat. I intend to go to Levain Bakery located at Jalan Imbi with a few dessert-craze friends of mine, but then semua ada hal masing-masing. In the end, the best that i can do is eat at Secret Recipies. tasted their new Chocolate Lava,but for me, tak berapa nak sedap sangat la.

Few days later, best buddy (Siti Nadia Darduri. ye cik siti) also had the same craving as mine. Kami nak makan kek! She suggest us to go to Serai Restaurant at Empire Subang Shopping Gallery. And guest what i found there.

the ever most delicious cake ever made and i ever taste.

Pavlova cake. served best with a cup of Cappuccino.

dan oleh sebab Siti taknak makan makanan yang sama,

dia dan Kat order Chocolate Lava Cake,

which, for me, waay better than Secret Recipies'.

In a few minutes, a whole slice of Pavlova is done!

Sebelum dijemput Siti, i did a few research on Serai Restaurant. most of them said there are a few reasons why Serai is one of the must-visit-restaurant ever. First, THE PAVLOVA of course. Second, cute guys are serving you. Ye saya akui memang pelayan kat sana sangat cute. Cute as in, international-cute. Yela, mamat comel Myanmar mana dia kaut. Tapi cute. Trust me. >.< *serious face*

Ketiga, tauke yang peramah. Sempat borak-borak dengan kami dan tanya macam-macam gak la. Not to the annoying point but yeah, you'll feel comfy. Other reasons, go find out yourself. Hehe

Dalam borak-borak, habis dah satu slice Pavlova. Owh damn i just can't get enough of it! So order lagi satu. Sedap gilaaaaaaa. Please kalau kamu tahu mana-mana yang jual Pavlova Cake lagi please do tell me. Pretty please?

Dan alang-alang berada di Empire, sempat singgah sekejap ke Whisk Espresso Bar and Bake Shop to buy this!

Kegilaan terhadap macaroons semakin menjadi-jadi.

FYI, miss Latifah ada bercadang untuk membuat macaroons. She even gave us the recipies but.. oh well.. hancur berkecai punah musnah. Takkan dipandang ke belakang lagi. Okey stop. I think everyone got the idea now. Shall we move on?

Thanks Serai. Hurm, the only, and obvious downfall for this restaurant is the food is too pricey. Too pricey, for a student like us. Nasi untuk rm15? no way man. But then again untuk delicious dessert macam Pavlova, i'll pay any price for you. ah lupa nak bagitau. One huge slice of Pavlova cake cost rm 14.80. For that heaven on earth experience, man.. tak tergambar sanggup buat apa saja. Okey saya bila bercerita memang hyperbola sikit. maaf.
